Food Distribution at Lumbini

The Great Compassion Fund provided 33 sacks of rice and groceries to impoverished individuals in Lumbini, Kapilavastu, and nearby slum areas during a two-day visit (December 17–18, 2024). We sincerely thank all the donors, as well as Indra Kafle and Manju Parajuli Dhakal, a social worker from Lumbini, for their immense love and support toward our philanthropic initiatives.

The Great Compassion Fund successfully held a donation event at Gautami Bhikkhuni Bihar in Lumbini on December 18, 2024. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ven. Khamesi Guruma and all the donors for making this event possible.

Relief Efforts in Lhasapaku, Bhaktapur

On April 4, 2025, the Great Compassion Fund (GCF), in collaboration with co-sponsor Love for Humanity, successfully carried out a food relief initiative for the vulnerable community of Lhasapaku, Bhaktapur. A total of 33 sacks of rice—each weighing 25 kilograms—were distributed to 33 underprivileged rural villagers.

The relief distribution was efficiently coordinated by Ani Rajya Prabha, a resident nun of Lhasapaku, a revered pilgrimage site associated with Bodhisattva Manjusri and the renowned Tibetan yogi Milarepa.
